Happy New Year To You!

Happy New Year To You!

Happy New Year to you. No, I don’t mean the December 31st at 11:59pm kind of Happy New Year. I mean the month, week, day, hour, or minute that you decide, I am going to start my life, I am going to do things differently.

We look forward to the strike of midnight on January 1st to say “New Year, New Start, New Year New Me” as though we are only given an opportunity for a new start once a year.

You are given 365 new chances each year, it’s called a new day!

With each new day you are given, you should let go of the mistakes, hurts, disappointments and stresses of yesterday.  Learn to forgive the unforgivable, love the unlovable.  Let go of grudges and the negativity that surrounds it, breathe and let it go. Embrace the NEW fresh day with FRESH HOPE, FRESH FAITH, FRESH OPTIMISM, looking ahead, and moving forward. Do right. Do your best. Be your best. Treat others as you want to be treated.

To borrow a quote from Leonardo da Vinci

“I have mostly been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough, we must apply. Being willing is not enough, we must do.”

The doing doesn’t have to be a physical action, it can be making an emotional, mental or spiritual change. It can be the moment you decide you are going to change the way you think and actually make an effort to do it and be consistent with it.  It could be changing how you respond to and treat that person that just gets on your last nerve ALL THE TIME!  It could be changing how you treat yourself, how you talk to yourself. Be careful of your inner dialogue, talk to yourself the way you want to be spoken to, with love.

May the year ahead of you, be the year that all that is divinely ordained to be yours comes to pass and manifest. May you leave the past in the past and celebrate life and living.

Many started and were not fortunate to see the end of the day. But you have been blessed with life, you made it through another day, so, give thanks and celebrate life and all that is to come. This WILL be the day, the year of manifestation, as everything you have worked for, everything your heart desires and everything God has promised WILL come to pass. I am praying blessings for you as your purpose and His will for your life unfolds.

Looking back to this time last year, we were all filled with hope, excitement and anticipation of what 2020 would bring. All of the affirmations and the declarations of “20/20 vision”, “thank God 2019 is over” or “this is going to be the best most memorable year ever!”

Well, 2020 was memorable in a way that if we were told what was ahead, I’m sure a few very choice words would have been said.

I don’t think I know anyone that hasn’t lost someone they love and care about in 2020. It has been a lot. It has been emotional. It has been exhausting.

We are living in such a time that in some ways we are still trying to comprehend. But through it all we have entered a new year still filled with hope that this year, this year will be unlike any other. We enter into 2021 hopeful that this will be the year that brings us what we have hoped, dreamed and prayed for.

My prayer for you, is that you continue to hold onto hope. Hold onto your faith. Keep believing, keep dreaming. Things may never fully go back to what we once knew. But we adapt, we are resilient, we are strong, we keep showing up. Whatever 2021 has in store, let’s face the days, weeks and months ahead with fresh optimism, fresh hope and fresh faith.

Hold those you love close, cherish them, don’t take them for granted. I’m sure if we learnt nothing else from 2020, we learnt tomorrow truly is not promised.

Happy New Year my lovelies. Blessings always

THANK YOU! This past year has been so challenging in so many ways, I have felt like giving up. Then I read this. As the saying goes, “where there is life, there is hope!” Monica
